How to pattern your gun
Cardboard
   STEP NO. 1

Cut paper or cardboard into a 48"x 48" target size. This will give you enough room to see your pattern even if it's off center some.

Cardboard
   STEP NO. 2

Start at 30 yards. Aim at the center of your target and SHOOT THE TARGET (make sure you mark the yards on each target just after shooting to keep track of which one is which).

Repeat at 40 yards and 50 yards.

Cardboard
   STEP NO. 3

Draw a 30" circle around the densest part of the pattern on each target, mark each individual pellet hit with a sharpie and count each one.

Cardboard
   STEP NO. 4

DO THE MATH

Divide the number of pellets in the shell (use chart A1 below) into the total number of hits in the 30" circle. Move the decimal point two places and thats your percentage.
